Description

The lessons in this resource have been written and developed with Indigenous authors, educators and advisors to reflect the recent changes to the Ontario History Curriculum (released April 20, 2018).
These historical lessons bring the voices and perspectives of First Nations, Metis people and Inuit into the classroom, with comprehensive teaching support that is designed to be used with Nelson History7 and History8.

The Student Resource contains:
- Customized lessons that provide 100% alignment to the recent curriculum changes.
- Student-friendly language introduces the inquiry process and historical thinking concepts
- A print resource and life of title access to the Online Student Centre

The Teachers Resource contains:
- A print resource, modifiable BLMs and life of title access to the Online Teacher Centre.
- Explicit direction on when to introduce each new lesson within the appropriate historical period
