Description

The Ontario Enhancements for Nelson Social Studies 4-6 provide comprehensive coverage of the added Indigenous outcomes for the Ontario social studies curriculum. Each grade has new student lessons focusing on First Nations, Metis, and Inuit perspectives, produced in the same format as Nelson Social Studies and designed to be continuous with the core resource. Corresponding teacher support material provides background information, three part lesson planning, and assessments. Student and teacher material are accessed through a myNelson Online Teacher Center, where student and teacher pages can be projected, read as a PDFs, or printed as hard copies. The Enhancements have been authored with a collaborative team of First Nations, Metis, and Inuit educators, writers and reviewers.
