CASI helps teachers identify students levels of reading comprehension and fluency through age and grade-appropriate, field-validated reading passages.

Each grade level complete kit includes:
- Reading Passages: 10 full-colour booklets (5 fiction, 5 nonfiction)
- Scoring Guide: Contains levelled student work samples that help teachers determine a students level of comprehension for each question.
- Question Sheet Booklet: Blackline Master question sheets for all reading passages.
- Comprehensive Teachers Guide: Includes detailed strategies for instructional next steps, a reading rubric and reproducible tools as well as fluency measures.
