Bilingual Verbal Abilities Test (BVAT)
Bilingual Verbal Abilities Test (BVAT) Normative Update measures bilingual verbal ability in English and another language. Bilingual verbal ability is the unique combination of cognitive-academic language abilities possessed by bilingual individuals. The need for this test is based in the reality that bilingual persons know some things in one language, some things in the other language, and some things in both languages. Traditional procedures only allow the person's ability to be measured in one language, usually the one considered to be dominant, even though anecdotal evidence suggests that these individuals know "more" than they can demonstrate with these monolingual approaches.

Checklist of Adaptive Living Skills (CALS) and Adaptive Living Skills Curriculum (ALSC)
CALS and ALSC are part of an integrated systems approach that links assessment, instruction, and evaluation. They are statistically linked to the Scales of Independent Behavior (SIB) and the Inventory for Client and Agency Planning.

CALS and ALSC look at approximately 800 specific behaviours organized into skill modules in four broad domains: Personal Living Skills, Home Living Skills, Community Living Skills, and Employment Skills. Each behaviour in CALS has a corresponding instructional unit in ALSC. Behaviours cover the continuum of development from infancy to adulthood.

Dean-Woodcock Neuropsychological Battery (DW)
DW is a comprehensive assessment of sensory-motor functioning that includes a structured interview, sensory-motor battery, and emotional status exam. The DW expands the psychologist’s range of assessment, and provides standardized procedures and normative information in comparison to other typically unstandardized measures.
The DW offers different levels of interpretation to support a wide range of professionals—from school psychologists with little or no background in neuropsychology to neuropsychologists and neurologists with extensive background in brain-behaviour relationships. The DW may be used in either a fixed, flexible, or process approach to assessment and may be administered in schools, hospitals, mental health settings, or private practice.
The Dean-Woodcock Neuropsychological Battery, partnered with assessments of cognitive abilities and achievement, such as the Woodcock-Johnson III, provides a comprehensive neuropsychological system meeting the needs of neuropsychologists, neurologists, and school psychologists in a variety of mental health settings.
