Tracking the TRC's Calls to Action and "Legacy" of Residential Schools

The first forty-two Calls to Action of the Truth and Reconciliation Commission call upon Canada to engage and take action on the "legacy" created by the Residential School System in areas of Child Welfare, Education, Language and Culture, Health, and Justice. This webinar series examines the progress made since 2015 and deepening an understanding of this legacy. Niigaan Sinclair, one of Canada's leading voices on truth and reconciliation and the TRC Commission, will provide information and relevant resources on what our responsibilities are as school communities in fulfilling the Calls to Action and how this work connects to education today. Join Niigaan and educators from across Canada to find out where we are and where we have yet to go.
