iLit

This series of four course-specific resources provides complete curriculum coverage. Each student resource features engaging Canadian contemporary short literary works in a variety of text forms, supported by 10 key literacy skills. Collections are organized so that each skill lesson is followed by a selection of literature that allows students to apply what they've learned. Graphic organizers, cartoons, and other visuals help make both the skills lessons and literature selections more engaging, while modelled examples are integrated throughout to illustrate the skills and support student understanding.
