Profile Professional 2004 System Requirements - May 2005 Release

Operating System
In order to install and run Profile Professional 2004, you will need one of the
following versions of Microsoft Windows, with Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.01 or
later, installed on your computer:

• Windows 2000
• Windows XP

Recommended Minimum Hardware
Pentium III computer with 128 MB RAM;
Hard Disk with at least 30 MB of free space;
Mouse or equivalent pointing device;
CD-ROM drive for installing software;
Printer for printing reports and Help files;
Sound Card and speakers or headphones for Online Demos.

Required Support Software
To obtain Licence Uses for Profile Professional 2004, you must have an active DESKTOP E-MAIL CLIENT PROGRAM such as Microsoft Outlook or Outlook Express installed on your computer. These programs require an account and connection to the Internet to send and receive external e-mail. Profile Professional 2004 must have at least one Licence Use installed to operate.

Installation Support
If problems are encountered when running Profile Setup, first, download and install the JET database support for your version of Windows from the Microsoft support site

The Microsoft .NET Framework and the Microsoft Data Access Components (MDAC) will be installed by Profile Setup if not currently on your system. If further problems occur during Setup the latest version of these can be downloaded and installed from the Microsoft Web site: http://msdn.microsoft.com/downloads/.


Adobe Acrobat Reader 6, or later, is recommended for viewing online Help, Training, and Tips. Updates and support for Acrobat Reader are available from the Adobe Web site at http://www.adobe.com.
