PEI has a lively arts community! Find out about some of the events and exhibitions going on in Charlottetown by visiting the site for the Confederation Centre of the Arts. The grey navigation bar at the top of the page will take you to information about art exhibitions, stage presentations and choral music concerts.
Find out more about the Acadian Museum. At this Web site you can find out about the goals of the museum and the museum's history. You can also view a variety of objects from the museum's collection.

1. Go to the Acadian Museum. 2. Click on the link "Virtual Visit" from the menu at the top left side of the page. 3. The museum includes eight "stops" on its virtual tour. Scroll down the page to read about each of the stops. 4. Create a flow chart to outline the different stages in the "Virtual Visit" to the museum. In each box of your flow chart, create a heading and include one or two brief point form details. You can draw your flowchart to suit whatever paper size you have available. It will look something like this:
5. Click the browser's "Back" icon to return to the navigation page for the site. Click on several other links on this page. Use the "Back" icon to return to the navigation page and choose another link to explore. As you view the site, record information about the most interesting things you learned about Acadians, or aspects of the museum that you found interesting. Then work with a classmate to share and compare your reactions to the site. |
