The Environment Canada Web site provides daily weather data, weather forecasts, and Canadian Climate Normals (1971-2000) data that is easily accessible to students. Students can check the daily weather in a number of locations throughout the province, or gather climate data from stations scattered throughout the province. Information is easily accessible to students. Younger students will need teacher direction and support to understand data presented.
The Atlas of Canada Web site provides an interesting and comprehensive collection of maps and related geographic information about Canada. Information and maps may be difficult to find and require several clicks through drop down menus. Younger students will require teacher direction to locate most relevant Web pages.
