Coal Industry
Historically, coal has been an important industry
in the Appalachian region. This student-friendly site from Natural Resources
Canada provides information about this industry. For games, puzzles, posters,

Atlantic Forestry Centre
This site takes students to the Atlantic Forestry
Centre in the Department of Natural Resources. It provides up-to-date
information on topics such as old growth forests. There are also links
