Oiled at Sea
This is an excellent Web site for information
about oil spills. It documents what happens to birdlife because of an
oil spill and provides a map that shows the danger zones for spills in
the Appalachian region. Students also have the opportunity to view two
Web videos about birds and oil spills. There is a list of fast facts,
too, as well as links to other sites with useful information about this
serious pollution hazard.
