The Red River Flood: An Internet Journal

Do you keep a diary or a journal? Sometimes there doesn't seem to be the time to do this, but if you have the time it is an excellent way to keep memories.

Kathleen Easton and Gordon Chorney kept a detailed journal of the Red River Flood. There were many other people who did the same thing.

You will see the same people that you have just read about in your Student Book. Spend some time reading through the site. Does the information on the Web site seem different from the stories in your Student Book? Prepare a two-minute presentation to share with your class about the following:

1. Explain which version you preferred to read. Tell why.
   
2. Were there differences in the information? What were they and how were they different?
